Seçil Dental Clinic Review

My friend and I made the decision last year to find the best Turkish dental clinic to both go to Turkey to have our teeth done. We had different needs but both wanted a smile make over.

After researching several clinics and contacting 2 prominent dental practitioners we came across Smile Aesthetica. The first big advantage here was the communication….. James. To have someone thoroughly explain everything in English from the UK was extremely useful.

We sent photos and videos of our teeth and James sent us a very reasonable quotation for the work which had a discount because we were going to travel out of season in February and because we would be sharing a room.

We were both quoted on a ‘worst case scenario’ and assured that until Xrays were done in Turkey that nothing could be guaranteed. I was quoted for 24 zirconia crowns and potentially 2 implants. I knew that I needed a bridge replacement and possibly a root canal. Once I had the Xray and consultation at the clinic in Antalya I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t need implants and only needed 21 crowns. I did need root canal work but was very relieved that this could be done at the same time. The full cost was better than expected and I wasn’t given a shocker once in the dentist’s chair!!

I cannot praise the service highly enough. From start to finish. James in the UK was always on call for any questions and once we got to Antalya the attentiveness of the staff was great. In particular, Ogun the clinic coordinator, was very knowledgeable and friendly giving a really personal experience.

After full Xray and consultation I needed 21 crowns and root canal work. Once agreed, the work started immediately. Considering what has to be done in such a short space of time they worked so efficiently- I’m not going to say that it’s easy because it’s not! Any dentistry is uncomfortable but with pain relief it was made as best as possible.

I do think there needed to be a bit more information about the actual process but I am so happy with my new teeth and after having a painful abscess in my mouth for far too long and a bridge that was over 20 years old, I now have a pain free mouth with a lovely smile. I love the natural shape and colour- very surprised how close the shape is to my actual teeth but straighter and fresh looking.

Overall an excellent experience and I would recommend Smile Aesthetica to anyone considering dental work in Turkey.

Then I found seçil dentil clinic, and I knew within minutes that they were honest but most of all really cared, and it was not about the money, they did not hassle me with changing prices, and trying in vain to compete with the thousands of dental clinics in antalya, there are dentists here that will promise the world and give the wrong advice to meet your budget and you have to be so careful, but this is not seçil! They really just want to give you a lifelong solution,

And as for that, there is a huge gap in quality,service and products that clinics use, this is not seçil! They only use the best products, the best dentists and teams to make your dream a reality! And after everything you feel like you are part of the family!

I honestly cannot recommend them enough, and I am not a person that writes reviews, but I just have to on this occasion, as seçil clinic has changed my life!

I had an amazing experience at this dentist! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The clinic was super clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I am beyond thrilled with my new teeth! The results are amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. I chose secil after my parents both had implants there. The booking process was smooth and the communication from Ogun was excellent. He made me aware of the entire process; what my week would look like (your appointment times are given to you the evening before so dont make plans!). He kept me informed of my transfers from the airport to the hotel and appointments. The hotel you are put in is in a residential area with a restaurant underneath. Excellent views and even better food with great service. The dentist itself is clean and you are welcomed at every appointment. I had 26 zirconium crowns and I’m terrified of the dentist but this was a relaxing environment and apart from the numbing injections, I didn’t feel a thing! Ogun was and still is on the other end of the phone to answer any questions I may have. It’s been a week since I flew home and he has messaged me every other day checking in with how my recovery is going, offering advice and support without hesitation. My itinerary was as follows:

Day 1 – arrived and checked into the hotel.

Day 2 – collected from the hotel and taken to the dentist, x rays, consultation, picking teeth shape/colour then the teeth shaving begins (i was there for about 5 hours) as I said above I’m terrified of dentists and they gave me a mild sedative to relax me. Later that evening I went back to the dentist to collect my temporary teeth. You need to eat soft things with these, I recommend the spag bol in the restaurant underneath the hotel.

Day 3 – went for a fitting of my permanent teeth, around 30 minute appointment.

Day 4 – day off, if you want to go shopping the tourist side is about a 30 minute taxi journey away (approx £20)

Day 5 – teeth fitting and pictures

Day 6 – travel home – i had a slight problem with my bite as I was numb when the teeth were fitted so I messaged Ogun and he had me collected earlier to correct this before heading to the airport.

Top tip for anyone going for crowns: grab plastic straws from the bar to take to your room it makes drinking alot more comfortable until your temporary teeth are ready.

Great service, great people and I look forward to seeing them in the future for a check up

Amazing service, can’t fault a single thing

I had treatment done with secil dental care after a friend of mine had work done and recommended me. My translater was Ogun he was amazing he couldn’t do enough for me always answering all my questions and reassuring me nothing was too much for him. I would really recommend this company to go with the staff are all very friendly and helpful the clinic is very clean and professional.

I have had zirconium crowns fitted and I absolutely love them, I’ll not lie I was a little bit nervous and apprehensive when I went for treatment but they reassured me and talked me all the way through things, when I had my temps fitted I really didn’t like the look of them and I was starting to regret my decision but they went above and beyond to make sure my teeth where perfect and exactly how I wanted them nothing was a problem for them. Come fitting day my teeth where perfect exactly how I wanted them I was so happy.

Since I have had them fitted and returned home they have been messaging me to make sure everything is OK the aftercare has been fantastic they are not just one of these companies that want your money then are not interested in you, they really do care about their patients the communication from them from start to finish has been excellent and I can not thank them enough for the work they have done and transforming my smile. If you’re looking for the perfect dentist these are the company to go with. Thank you again secil you are the best.
