Excellent service from Ceyhun, he kept me informed the whole way and even now nearly 3 weeks post op he is still supporting me, he even visited me in hospital. The whole experience was 5 star plus I can’t thank the doctors and nurses for the care they gave me. I have just had a check up in the UK and they are super impressed with how well I’m doing
Very informative from the very beginning
My wife had a gastric sleeve surgery via Bnchealthcare in Gozde International hospital. From arriving to Izmir she received an amazing welcome and transfer to the hotel with great room facilities. On the day of surgery the coordinator welcomed us and guide her through the set of thorough health checks. After consultation she was ready for the surgery. The surgery went quick. She received an amazing aftercare from the nurses, surgeon Ismail Yaman, coordinator. Amazing support. I was extremely impressed with the hospital crew and facilities as i was her companion during the whole 3 day stay in hospital. She received all post-operation guidance, information, nutritional plan and medical report.
What a fantastic experience from start to finish. I was in contact with ceyhun who I messaged on WhatsApp from start to finish. He was very understanding of my phobias and definitely catered for my needs and let the hospital know what changes I needed. He was fantastic he answered any questions I had and replied near enough instantly. VERY HAPPY
I booked this provider after being provided lots of information by my Co-ordinator Medina over several months while I investigated various services. I had researched my surgeon Dr Ismail Yaman at the Ozel Saglick Hospital and made my decision (eventually … I dithered for a year). Once I had confirmed my flights Medina organised everything. On arrival at the airport we were a little confused as to where our luxury car was as it turned out to be an unmarked minibus. However, it only took a few minutes to be contacted by phone and the drivers arrived within 3 minutes. Taken to a hotel that was lovely inside but the street it was on was dark and at first we were nervous. However our rooms were large and spotlessly clean and beds comfortable with a good shower. We were given a time for the minibus collection to the hospital at 8am and it was punctual and only a short drive. The hospital was large and clean and an interpreter Genelle (Jenny) was waiting, the staff friendly and efficient and all the necessary tests were carried out as soon as we arrived – the testing in my opinion, was very thorough and included, bloods, ECG, lung test, chest Xray, ultrasound of heart, ultrasound of gallbladder, stomach and liver and later, while asleep, an endoscopy of oesophagus. We were then taken to our room which was very large and clean and had a large TV set into the mirror, (but with only news channels in English) and a large bed settee for my companion, a really good sized, smart bathroom and touch screen lights and temp control etc. We then saw the dietician where our fat measurements, BMI etc were all taken and calculated on a computer program and were given a whole package of information on our new eating methods and the dos and donts and opportunity to ask lots of questions. Then we saw the surgeon who by then had the results of the tests. Although he spoke via a translator he was very clear and precise and answered all of our questions. It was then just a waiting game in the rooms until the endoscopy and surgery. We made friends with lots of others on the corridor as we are all in having the same thing and this was really reassuring. It also gave us a support group after going home. My surgery was late in the day as I was having my gastric band removed then a gastric sleeve which takes a little longer than the usual. However my endoscopy was painless as I was asleep as was my surgery. I woke in recovery and asked for more pain releif which I got, I then went to my room and within half an hour was up for a wee and started my walking of the corridors. I was pain free and just felt as though I had pulled a few muscles in my abdomen. I was being connected to regular drips – fluids, paracetamol, antibiotics. I didn’t need so didn’t ask for any additional pain meds. The nursing team didn’t speak much English but it was possible to make myself known when needed. I continued the walking around and the breathing exercises given to me the day after and I just recovered super fast. On day 2 I was taken for a CT scan with contrast (orally) to check I had no leaks in my new stomach and was then given the OK to start small sips of water. Each day I drank a little more and I was walking around the outside of the hospital for exercise. I was taken to a pharmacy to by 3 months worth of meds to take home (£90) and then discharged midday on day 3 back to the hotel and flew home the day after that without issues. I am continuing to follow the plan and the weight is dropping weekly. I feel well. I do make sure I get enough sleep and water. I have been able to ask questions from my coordinator Medina since coming home too and I have contact details of the surgeon for forwarding on my blood test results over the coming 2 years.
I booked to have the sleeve done in January 2023, Madian was my co-ordinator and from the first contact back in October 2022 she has been so helpful even to this day. I arrived in Izmir on 24th of January and was picked up at the airport and taken to Myway Delux Hotel for the night, the hotel is beautiful and spotless clean. On 25th i was picked up in the morning and taken to hospital for all my tests, then was transered to economy hospital for surgery, Dr Arslan done my opp, he was so nice and helpful, he checked in morning and night after surgery making sure everything was good. On discharge from hospital again i got transfered back to the same hotel for 2 nights. I couldn’t fault anyone of the staff at the hospital the care was good. Hospital was clean also. I only wish i had got this opp long before i did. Im 12 weeks post opp and 5stone 3lb down, i couldn’t have done this without DrArslan and Madian.
